“MGAs hold a unique position in the industry. They offer specialised and complex products and serve markets that aren’t always covered by the traditional carriers. Despite this, MGAs have historically lacked professional accreditation or dedicated regulation… A dedicated regulatory framework could recognise and accommodate their unique business models and operational structures, supporting their quest for innovation, rather than stifling it.”
